A lovely newborn session from Australian photographer Hannah Cary Photography! As she points out, getting multiple shots out of each pose is a must-have skill when dealing with a fussy or sensitive baby on location. Love the (natural) lighting in these images!
I had the pleasure of meeting baby Mason recently. He is the first born son of someone I grew up with, yet haven’t seen for over 10 years. Mason’s mother and I went through school together and were good friends as young children. It was a wonderful experience getting to catch up with Emma as I photographed her precious boy.
Mason kept his mum and dad on their toes awaiting his arrival. He was quite overdue, and as a result was fairly sensitive to my touch and woke a lot! I persevered throughout, and made sure to make the most of each pose by photographing multiple angles to be sure I could provide a beautiful gallery of 30+ images from minimal pose changes.
Gear Used:
Canoon 5DmkII, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L at f/2.8, and lit by mother nature.
